I'm so glad you're here.
My name is Angela Mohamed, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing virtual therapy to individuals across New York. I believe that therapy should feel like a space where you can slow down, breathe, and be fully yourself without judgment.
Life can feel overwhelming at times. Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling stuck, exhausted, anxious, or unsure about their next steps. Sometimes it's the weight of responsibilities, relationship stress, past experiences, or simply trying to hold everything together for everyone else.
You don't have to carry all of that alone.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and compassionate. I see therapy as a partnership where we explore what you're going through, make sense of your experiences, and develop practical tools that help you move forward with more clarity and confidence.
Together, we may work on things like:
Managing anxiety and stress
Navigating life transitions
Processing difficult emotions or experiences
Strengthening self-esteem and self-trust
Creating healthier patterns in relationships
Finding balance in a busy or demanding life

Therapy is not about being perfect or having everything figured out. It is about giving yourself the opportunity to grow, reflect, and move toward the life you want.
